Splatt 4.2 to PHPBB for newbie..; How TO?

Hi.

I'm French, so sorry for my bad english

I have a very big problem. Splatt forum mades some crach of the SQL server sometimes... and the admins decide to desactivate the website.

So I managed to convert Splatt 4.2 (quite old forum) to a PHPBB forum.
PHPnuke is V6.9 or lower if I remember

At this time i'm only a moderator of the forum, but the admins of the site are too busy, so maybe i will do the migration muself

I need help, because I don't know nothing in PHP and SQL....
So I'd like you to give a small "How to" for converting Splatt tu PHPBB and upgrading PHPnuke. What will I need? what will I do?

I know their is alwais lots of topic about that, but please, help.
The forum is quite big and We don't want too lost it!

does it works with PHPnuke v6.x (different from 6.0)?
which version of bbtunuke i must use?
