Im pretty sure it also works for phpnuke 8.0, you use at your own risk though.

Or you can try to brute force method.
Export your tables to your local drive.
Download a copy of your nuke directory.
Delete that directory.
Dump the tables.

Then install the version of nuke desired, change any necessary scripts, and import your tables to the new db.

And always back up your site before changing anything!
