I am having a problem adding comments to news articles.

I can add comments to Surveys/polls and Journal entries, but I can not add any comments to news articles

I am running 7.8

I select the enable comments option when I approve the news articles.
And i've tried changing the moderation type in preferences as well and still nothing.

After the article is up on the main page, the word “comments” does appear at the bottom of the new story, but if I click on it, it just shows me the news story and there is no way to add any comments.

Comments are being counted tho as the number goes up each time someone attempts to post a comment. But no comments show still

Any help would be awesome guys Smile

I just found this issue for some users - I had to add the value 4096 into commentmax table under nuke_users. Then they started appearing again - I am still trying to track down where this value is set & how to ammend it within nuke itself..

I have the same problem and can't figure out how to fix it. I've tried putting 4096 in the bytes but that didn't work.
