COuld someone/is someone willing to explain how two option of bbtonuke work?
1) New posts:
When as a member of the site I log on to the forums, then I can see new post icons for new posts since my last visit. So when i go to the first and read it it sets itself to readed when I return to the first page, but the unread new topics are still new and show the new post icons.
When an half hour later I return to the site they are set to not new anymore. How (coding wise) does this work?
I can code the principle of new posts since last visit,but when I visit the site the last visit var is updated and all posts become not new anymore since last visit.
Is there a timer or something in the forums?
2) Track topic:
How does this work? Cause I cant seem to find a table in the dbase which keeps track of which user is following which topic...
Could someone explain?

The key is session information.
You may look at and figure out what are going on in the session field.
