Just finished installing phpnuke 7.8 on my 1and1 hosting. I setup the MySQL database tables using the provided sql text file, and they're all there, from nuke_author, to nuke_users_temp. My config.php is configured fine too, since I tried breaking it and that gave a phpnuke error page. With the correct config info it gives the blank page with the php-nuke powered site topic in the browser window.

Code:

$dbhost = "db94.perfora.net";
$dbuname = "dbo101224335";
$dbpass = "*** EDITED OUT ***";
$dbname = "db101224335";
$prefix = "nuke";
$user_prefix = "nuke";
$dbtype = "MySQL";
$sitekey = "S·kQSd5%W@Y62-dm29-.-39.3a8sUf+W9";
$gfx_chk = 0;
$subscription_url = "";
$admin_file = "admin";
$advanced_editor = 0;

I'm not sure what the sitekey is, should I change it to whatever I want, or leave it default as it is???

Either way, after setting up MySQL tables and editing the config.php, then uploading the files to the web, all I get are blank pages with the correct page title in the browser title bar. I've noticed other users have had this problem, but through my forums search, I have not actually found any solution.

Please help!

Everything looks correct from your config.php
You may need to link us to the site, so we can see what exactly is being returned to the browser

Site key does need to be changed, for security reasons. Put in a random string of keys.. just random gibberish
