Breaking down the theme structure

OK. This is what we know. Now, how can it be manpulated?

1. Theme Header
2. Theme Index
3. Theme Article
4. Theme Sidebox
5. Open Table
6. Close Table
7. Open Table 2
8. Close Table 2

How can these pieces of nuke best be manipulated? How do you use your theme to create a table boarder on the main page where all of the news articles will go in, rather than having an individual table for each story. Where do you wrap the left and right blocks in a column?

you want to modify the "main table" as i like to call it (first cell is leftblocks second is content and third is right)

1. Theme Header - tells nuke where to put HEADER, LEFT, opens MIDDLE
2. Theme Index - tells nuke how to format each story on the index
3. Theme Article - tells nuke how to format each story in article view(comments, read more)
4. Theme Sidebox - tells nuke how to format what is inside the LEFT and RIGHT blocks
5. Open Table - tells nuke how to open an outer table
6. Close Table - tells nuke how to open an inner table
7. Open Table 2 - tells nuke how to close an outer table
8. Close Table 2 - tells nuke how to close an inner table
9. Theme Footer - tells nuke to close MIDDLE and where to put RIGHT, and FOOTER.
