How do I create a .htaccess file of the ipbans.txt we got here?
In my protector system I can't use the "NukeCops" (with the image) tool to convert it. How do I do this manually? And is it possible for someone to create one for me if you've got the time?

I've noticed the nukecops table only has one IP address field, but when you try to create a SQL file to import, it has the table selected in the SQL code for IP ranges and not single IP's (this nuke table includes "IPFrom" and "IPTo" fields, whereas the nukecops data only contains one field "IP").
It must be trying to add the data to the wrong table when it is asked to create the SQL querys for the banned IP's.
Not only that, adding a .htaccess file, slowed down my site so much it was taking at least half a minute to go through the file, process all the IP's to see if mine was in the list, before it would load the main page of the site.
No thanks m8, that's an unacceptable wait. I can't have visitors waiting that long just to load up the main page, or not as the case may be. Most of them will get bored, think the site is too slow and leave. Mind you there WERE over 1,000 IP's in the file. There has to be some balance between loading times, and security, adding huge lists of IP's to HTACCESS files is just takes too long to process.
In the end, i read somewhere about creating a hosts.deny file and putting the IP's in there, i then plopped it in the etc folder on my server. I have no way of knowing exactly if it's doing it's stuff though until one of the banned IP's tries to access.
EDIT: Did a double check, and two of my tables were screwed, will try this again and see it it's made any difference now it's fixed.
