Hello,
I know my computer has been infected with spyware. Whenever I logon to the internet no matter what website I visit I receive this "showbehind" popup. At first I thought this popup came from the website that I've visited since many websites do the popup behind webpage. Well, I know for certain I do not have any popup codes on my website therefore when I logged online the first website I visited was mine. Lord behold, there goes that "show behind" popup. I did some research on the internet about spyware to find that one of the well known spyware is the "unwanted popups". Now here goes the bogus advertisment. I search the web for "free" spyware detect & remove software. I found one that I thought was free and could get the spyware files off my computer. I downloaded it, I installed it, I executed it, it scanned my computer gave me a list of at least 18 files that was possible spyware and yes indeed one of those files was the "show behind" dll file located in my system folder and registration. What a joke this software turned out to be. Free my a$$ the only thing free about this software was the scan. In order to remove the files I had to purchase the software for $100. Yikes!! BOGUS ADVERTISEMENT. I said to devil land with this software I removed it from my computer and guess what? Every freaking time I logon the internet, this popup appear from the software I installed & removed telling me about some ALERT spyware detected. Well good lord, the spyware is theirs. Yes the showbehind popup is there but now I have to deal with their popup as well. What this software did was removed everything but one file (their spyware popup telling me about another spyware file) ha ha ha. What a joke. Today I downloaded another spyware program (crossing fingers) I sure hope this one can get the job done without costing me $100. |

I downloaded ad-aware and it has detected and deleted the hidden pop up program, but everytime i restart my computers the pop ups re-appear and ad-aware finds the same files and deletes them again. is there anyway to permanently delete them. |
