It's not a trivial difference. The license and copyright still remains in all the source...
Regarding the restricted trademark, the GPL states that you can change the code - including the name (which is the only thing the original author could trademark - not the code itself which is copyrighted under the GPL) and redistribute the code, as long as the original copyright is retained in the code. Problem solved... |
