(User Info | Send a Message) http://www.lc.yi.org | Yeah, it is a good idea. I ran it as soon as I saw it, because I'm pretty sure I've missed at least one patch somewhere along the ways. Yeah, it's security through obscurity, but I'll take it. For now at least.
BTW. It's not a random change to the table prefixes, it just makes it VERY easy for you to rename all the tables at once. (You have to manually edit your own config.php - in most proper web server configs, it should be impossible for php to change a web accessible file anyway) |

(User Info | Send a Message) | | Does this work with nuke 7.5? I just did a search from nhttp://www.nukesecurity.com/article126.html It pointed me here. THey updated that script on Jan 13th, so I know its good, but why did they point me to this old article dated Nov 2004 and this article states this is only good for 6.5-6.9 ? Oh well, I wll keep looking to make sure |
