Re: A Newbies First Story Using Nuke Doc's (Score: 1) by JG on Monday, August 25 @ 12:38:26 CEST (User Info | Send a Message) http://johngaltaisa.com | Having a general understanding, is of course part of a learning curve. Learning how to drive before you buy, requires "Instruction." Learning how to use a computer before you buy it, requires
"Instruction."
Learning anything, "requires instruction."
The point, and issue was and is, there are NO INSTRUCTION'S, in areas where there needs to be, and over 25,000 posts on one site for HELP, supports that contention, and so does reality.
If a programmer, can not give "Instruction's" on the ultimate purpose of that code he/she wrote, and its IMPLEMENTATION for the ultimate user, then they are doing the job, half-a_s.
That does not mean, they need to make it "idiot proof', but like that car you bought, that you learned how to drive...with instruction, so are the things YOU NEED TO DO, to maintain it!
If you sacrifice the ONE (that's right) to the many that are fools, then just where are those fools going to learn anything? |
