Time-Sensitive Post Editing allowance

There is a time limit option for posting in general (ie 15 seconds between posts) but nothing that I am aware of (other than points-style mods where you can only post if you have x points, and each post cost x points, etc..) unless there is a custom out there... (which could be the case as i have been out of it for a while)...

I am looking for a way to mod the forum code to disallow editing of posts after a certain period of time has passed by or until a reply to the post/thread, has been made. Time limit will be set by the Admin in the General Admin - Configuration and function will be turned on/off at the thread level and set by the moderator.

I have searched for something like this but not finding anything.

Any ideas?
