Site: Nuke Cops takes Leeching Seriously: gamezgalore |

 Good morning dear members. It has come to my attention this morning after an audit of the uploads directory that a certain member gamezgalore has a total of 14,612 KB (or 14 MB) of personal files residing on this server. Gamezgalore has been offering these files for free download from his site http://www.gamezgalore.co.uk/. SamSpade has revealed the registrant to be Mike Rose.
For instance, take a look at this page and you'll see the files are hosted at Nuke Cops.
This is an abuse of the system and we of course have every right to request this site to be shut down. We have added this website into our list of leeching sites. Please note that no one else is abusing this system. My recommendation is that gamezgalore ceases and desists immediately.

Now I don't like to bring such discussions into the public arena, but such an action hurts me personally that someone is taking advantage of the free services I bring. Let it be known that if this occurs again, I will be forced to make the Uploads module a Premium only access.
All files have been deleted. Again, this is the only member of the 4339+ registered users who is abusing Nuke Cops. I was never even notified that this was taking place. The Nuke Cops Acceptable Use Policy expressly forbids this practice: AUP.
Admin Note: And the worst part of this is, gamezgalore asks for money to support his site while stealing my bandwidth.

User gamez_galore is in violation of both these terms. As far as I know, nukecops.com has NOT given authorization to gamez_galore to "transmit any Content" that are on nukecops.com's servers. gamez_galore is in violation of nukecops.com Acceptable Usage Policy and/or Terms of Service.
Or am I off base here? There is a complaint form for geocities TOS violations at the bottom of http://docs.yahoo.com/info/terms/geoterms.html. |
