zone-h: W00T Nuke Cops Hacked Part II
Off-TopicIn an earlier article I caught your attention in a special way, right? My article made you think the site was hacked into. Well... Zone-H apparently thinks it to be so authentic a "hack attack defacement" that it actually got saved on their site as such.

Here is the mirror link of the 'defacement': http://www.zone-h.org/defacements/mirror/id=1164443/, and the preceding page that talks about it: http://www.zone-h.org/en/defacements/view/id=1164443/. The person who claims ownership of the 'defacement' is called 'XerVerG'. Now, this just makes me wonder how authentic the web site http://zone-h.org really is? It appears they will accept even 'fraudulent defacements' as valid. Boo on you zone-h! And boo on you XerVerG for taking my article and labeling it as a site defacement. Perhaps zone-h needs to set validation standards. Now that this loophole in zone-h's processes has revealed itself, perhaps other sites that have been listed there were not really defaced at all.

Upon further investigation, http://www.zone-h.org/en/defacements [www.zone-h.org] states this: "Todays reported and verified attacks: 5 of which 5 are single IP and 0 mass defacements".

How is it verified? They don't even click the READ MORE link to see the rest of the story?

I'd say not only zone-h has some loophole issues (if one site on their list is incorrectly listed, then perhaps others too are incorrectly listed), but this person:

http://www.zone-h.org/en/defacements/filter/filter_defacer=XerVerG/ [www.zone-h.org]

Is actually not a hacker at all, but a lier. Look, if you want to help make the product better, fire away and email me so patches can be made. But at least be honest.

With permission from the zone-h admin, this is reposted:

"Hello Paul,

'However, your standards on accepting and 'verifying' seem to be lacking
because of this'

Yes, your joke had caught our operators as well, but there is nothing
wrong with our publishing policies, it's just that from the mirrored
page you cannot choose to click on the second level links, therefore our
operator simply couldn't discover the joke. Let's say that you choosed
the wrongest way to build up a joke as our mirror robot doesn't teleport
the full tree of the defaced site...
Call it even fault 50% ours , 50% yours.

'This also shows that other sites may be incorrectly listed.'

At a rate of 1000+ site published every day, I think this is very
possible.

I erased your mirror though.

Regards

SyS64738 www.zone-h.org admin"

Thanks for the swift reply.
