 The latest version of PHP-Nuke, 6.5, has been
released, some of the changes include:
- Fixed a security bug in mainfile.php when using Windows systems and
Multilanguage option
- Fixed a SQL injection bug in index.php while getting http referer (Thanks to
NukeCops.com guys)
- Added User Profile link in news submission
- Fixed SQL injection hole in Search module
- Added more security checks for GET variables
- Added security checks for POST variables
- Added table format to single comment display when bigger than 4096 bytes in
News module
- Rewritten Topics module. Now it's very functional and useful with a lot of
News info
- Fixed a bug in who's online information. If an user logs in it will delete
his/her record as a guest

(User Info | Send a Message) http://nukeresources.com | | I know many will download PHP-Nuke without bothering to check if there is
anything they should be aware of when upgrading, for those that do some
research before upgrading here's a tip or two:
1-Make a backup of all files and database tables before upgrading.
2-If using Tom's bbtonuke port with PHP-Nuke 6.0 DO NOT USE THE
upgrade60-65.php FILE TO UPGRADE, instead use nukebbsql.php which you can
get from NukeResources [www.nukeresources.com],
NukeCops [nukecops.com] and
NukeMods [www.nukemods.com].
3-PHP-Nuke 6.5 was designed for php 4.1.0 or better and it requires
GD libraries to be present, get analyzer from
NukeCops [nukecops.com] to check these and
other aspects. |
