Re: Nuke 6.8 Web Installer (Score: 1) by steve on Sunday, July 13 @ 22:50:41 CEST (User Info | Send a Message) http://www.enerds.ca | So what's the verdict .. ? I've been away from the Nuke community for a few weeks (close to a month now) due to business trips, etc etc.
Last I remember reading, Nukecops was thinking about staying on 6.5, and releasing their own Nukecops fork? I realize the importance of working with phpnuke.org ... has everything blown over, and is everybody back working together?
Cheers,

there was a big blowout, apparently AI had announced that option for NukeCops without conferring with the other NukeCops peeps, so they ousted him, retracted his statement, and now AI has joined up with Bob Marion at NSN, where they will continue with a nuke fork
NukeCops continues to do all the phpnuke fixes, etc, for free, so FB can still charge for the updates (but any security and bugfixes are provided in service pack downloads, i believe, for free) |
