PHPNukeForge Development Team |

chownhosting writes "Developers Needed!
Currently, I am a one-man show and
am looking for developers willing to contribute to PHPNukeForge. What am I
looking for and what would I like to do? First there was the sourceforge
project, then came xoopsforge and now there is gforge. I would like to be the
PHPNukeForge to be the latest and greatest version. Not only that, but after
playing around with the three I noticed a lot of bugs. I think we should put
focus on being able to install our version on a shared host no root access
needed. I also think an auto install should be fairly easy for paths. On another
note, postgres is great and all, but most hosting companies with cPanel only
have MySQL. I think we should be looking into deploying this, not only with
MySQL but also to run on top of PHPNuke.
Please contact me if you would like
to be part of this project.

We are not looking into changing phpnuke to but we are looking into the modded idea. Our intent is not to take gforge, xoopsforge or sourceforge and make it look like phpnuke but provide the same functions in a more stable format. |

Even Mambo is allowing to have a modded version of Mambo called "Community Builder" or something like that.
Hit me up if you guys are planning to do that. |
