 Anonymous writes "I have upgraded my sites from PHPNuke 6.0 to 6.5 and now it seems that my server load is much higher than before. Did anybody remark the same? Please mail to webmaster@comicfan.de"

(User Info | Send a Message) | | Do you have additional blocks/modules on the 6.5 that were not used in 6.0? If so maybe they're the ones contributing to the increased load. |

(User Info | Send a Message) | | If you run any statistic modules, I've noticed some of these take a lot more resources in 6.5 than when used in 6.0. Check to make sure all your blocks/modules have 6.5 versions available... |

(User Info | Send a Message) | | I had a site that was running fine with 6.5. EHostNow upgraded their servers memory and when they came back up, my site was a server hog. I changed nothing, added nothing, etc., etc. Yet they blamed me for crashing their servers repeatedly. They banned the site without even attempting to figure out what was going on. Problem was that it was a new client - a radio disk jockey with a listening audience of 220,000. Boy was that fun to go through. Went to NukeZone and all is cool! |

(User Info | Send a Message) | | Do you have error loggin turned off? Some people have had it running and noticed the same thing, then turned it off and it runs much smoother. |
