New version 2.0 of the PHP-Nuke HOWTO |

Hello Nukers,
the new version 2.0 of the PHP-Nuke
HOWTO is finally released! I have added 400 pages to Claudio's
text, so the new document is now over 500 pages long! See Credits
for all the changes. It is also available as a PHP-Nuke
module to install it on your site! As usual, this HOWTO
is also available in many formats, including HTML, PDF, PS and even
RTF, see the Formats
section.
Why did it take so long? - you may ask. Well, if you have a look at the
new PHP-Nuke
HOWTO you will understand why. There is no topic left out,
everything is covered: installation, configuration, themes, blocks,
modules, programming, security, acceleration, optimization, day-to-day
operation... From now on, you can really say: Read That Fine
Manual! :-)
Now you don't need to worry about documentation anymore -
just download the PHP-Nuke
module of the HOWTO and install it on your PHP-Nuke site!
Let me give you some statistics:
28 Chapters
500 pages
100 Images
2500 Index entries (that's almost a 30-page Index!)
1000 references to external sources
1500 cross-references
400 HTML files
3000 hours of work
If you would like to learn more about the creation process of a
document like this, read document processing with
LyX and SGML.
Of course, in a document of this complexity, there will always be
errors and inaccuracies. Please feel free to post your comments and

Good job. Anybody that produces documentation and tutorials should be commended for the effort.
Now that you've posted this guide, you make the community happy. Good docs are a valuable asset for the whole Nuke-Community - for newbies and veteran Nukers.
I'd love to see some extensible documentation for the future of PHPNuke ( and perhaps for PostNuke as well)
Well do you think that your work could be adopted for the advanced creation of some docs in the postnuke-way?
BTW: Therefore the creation process could be interesting.
Above all - having such a nice document opens up many options for sustainable developement. the allready achieved docs are somewhat of a milestone.
Again - many thanks for the documentation and Tutorial.
