Mr. Megabyte is proud to announce his PHP Nuke hacked web sites and posted on his front news page. And guess what. His own page was built in PHP Nuke.
I want to know if our nuke community has any policy to deal with this kind of people, but, for now do your ouwn test and ban his IP address 200.65.0.9

ok im now going to the exploit part for audioslaved in special
METODO 3 SQL INJECTION
(Recomendded for PHP NUKE portals or using db MySql)
For this method we need to apply SQL INJETCION
The first thing is to go to the login of the victim normally http://www.victim.com/admin.php in this page we re gonna get the login/pass
Explaining SQL INJECTION
If you know some about programmation this wil be easier to undersand
As the name injection sais what we do is inject code to a page that uses the database,when we start the session in phpnuke ,what the code does is check if the pass is true or false which is done by a loop which basically is like storing it in a variable called pass
if('pass'=='passworddeadministrador') (Note the use of the ´ to compare the strings of the pass)

As you see only we can have 2 answers true or false,so to apply this technic the only thing you need to do is to put the passthe next way a'or'newpasssword'
like this when our var enters what it does is the next
if('a'or'newpassword')we use the comparative "or" because our comparative always results true(pass o otherpass)==true
So with this we are modificating the code of the page which will let us in with our new l password "newpassword"

it asks you to put the url of the victim yes in the example sais phpnuke.org.
it seems you have to register at the victims website first to start a session in the victims portal.
after that it looks like a scam.
since when you fill in your dates there he ll have your dates??
the form initselves seems o be harmless
although a MD5 entry is there too.
then a list is there with urls of all websites he has defaced.
Personally i think he doesnt know himself what hes doing??
another thing is lol he dont have the copyright from phpnuke in the bottom?
but i guess this is the least of our concerns.
I want to add myself that a couple of years ago when i was learning ahum scanning ports and shit (never ever did something evil --i hope if i did i didnt knew how lol) but what i want to say is with all those grat modules such as ip tracking etc makes the adminstrator of a nukeportal also powerfull by knowing lots of ips am i correct.
a scriptkiddie or lamer or whatever you call it will hack or break anything he can.
so i guess having an portal up and lots of members means lots of ips to play with?no?
isn´t it also rite that 90% of us that comes to nukecops or any other phpnuke site has a nukeportal or is going to have one or is thinking about one?
im just saying that all we use in advantage for us can and will be used against us as well

I dont think hes shored up against his own tools. Ive been checking on and off and yes your right, hes asking for the admin, change it to the admin name you want, put an encrypted pass in, etc. but as I said, the form you see is useless without the module to process the fields. I have a good idea how to make it work and theory about potential use with it and making it work against an opponent, but Im not posting it here. |

(User Info | Send a Message) http://www.audioslaved.com | Thx for translating for me, and, one thing I found interesting is how the guy is tied to DOS attacks indirectly at least, if you look at the creator of that php-nuke exploit module, the email addy for the creator, more specifically the domain suffix, can't recall the name of it, do a search in google for it, it comes up with a security response article about the author of a particular DOS attack being the same guy that supposedly made this mod to exploit nuke, I went to the current site of that exploit module author, nothin to special that I could see, but then again, it is a language I don't understand, lol!
