We have gained quite alot of attention in the anti-spam world because of this and with all the great resources working together, including authorities, the culprits have been exposed with evidence and busted. Not trying to be a smart ass here but it seems you really ask for what you are getting, I don't even see why anyone would have a reason to spam or attack your site other than getting their jollies out of watching you work so hard and freak out on the slightest ping to your site.
This has happened before to you and you persist on passing along your frustrations to the users of this site who could really care less about your foul mouth and profanity's. I'm personally turned off comming to this site to hear you cry about your security issues as well as your crybaby bickering back and forth with the offenders. If you find a miracle fix for this fine, but I could care less about your script Kitty spats.

Ya know I wonder about that too. But since I dont know the answer and I just hate little retards, I guess its just the joys of victory and watching them agonize in defeat. Thats the fun part.
I prefer to think that SOMEONE has to take these little dorks out and Im sick of the other people (without offense to you) saying, oh well, gee I don't care let them do what they want and turn the net into a pile of useless wasteland of stupid junk ads for the spammers limp dicks, the crack drugs they are on and crack whores they wish they could screw. Dont like my foul mouth, pampered babies? Just read their spam you get then, I look like an altar boy :-(~
So, since no one else does it, I do. Secondly, I have other reasons and unfortunately, it is not a kiddy spat. This one is serious, but by all means, do me favor, as I have stated this in the past, you get hacked, spam bombed or whatever has to do with security, dont ask me for help. Im just putting little portions out there in the hopes that most of the good community members out there can benefit and remain protected from the few dirt merchant shitheads that do this for fun and giggles.
Do you really think this is funny? I don't but I have learned a hell of alot of personal info about everyone of them in the past week than I would have discovered sleuthing for months as well as gain ALOT of allies, valuable assistance (Finally) and members to my site who might actually find a job and feel secure putting hteir info on a PROTECTED site unlike the competitors.
Why do they try to hack my site? If you put your resume on there, Its ALL of your personal info. Yep, your name, your home and work number etc. Dont you think thats valuable to spammers and subseven retards? Of course. Its my duty to protect it. Dont want me to care or do it, then please, go out your resume on there, and I'll just post it on the front page for them. Sound good?

The attacker is a Nuker and reads and uses EVERYONE of PhPNuke security fixes to locate vunerabilities to use against YOUR site. So now any of you ungrateful scum want go tell me to go F myself?

I for one enjoy your posts. Whether its to laugh with you or feel your rage. But you've taken a purely sporting outlook at this. To say your protecting your clients is kind of a crock 'O doodledoo.
If that was your primary concern wouldn't a simple $50 SSL certificate and some quick coding of urls (any page with a form for instance would at least require users to be logged on via SSL) redirecting to a SSL connection accomplish adaquate protection for your clientele? I realize there would be some overhead with this solution but heck even Ebay uses this approach to some extent.
I'm not throwing rocks here just trying to point out alternatives that are more globally exceptable. Of course you'd still be free to persue all the key kiddies who violate your turf.

Sure your absolutely right about the SSL certificate, but what about the other Nukers and simple website owners that can't afford it? Especially now with the way the economy is. So an alternative action to halt this needs to be taken. So thats why I make the effort to combat them. Im an optimist and think that IT CAN be completely stopped minus the occasional newbie who thinks he can get away with it.
Working with governments, each spam I get reveals more and more, and they now see with proof, of what all of us IT people have been telling them. People always want proof and coddling criminals like Ms. Veto, Diane Feinstein has done, only hurts the innocent more and more.
Now, not only her, but ALOT of elected officials, are actually EXPERIENCING what we have all been saying. Ok now its illegal to send drug spam. One step closer. Chinas internet security, proposal to make these atttacks punishable by long term hard labor is in the works. I would PAY to see the busted spammer sitting in the Gobi desert shoveling dirt and living on 1 bowl of rice a day. Seriously, I would pay. Too bad the West coddles them, puts them in country club facilities and teaches them for free, how to be lawyers so they can sue us for reporting them.
I like the Chinese method. Which also includes Hosts, sub-hosting to so-called "bullet-proof" hosts who work with garbage companies like XINNET (Canadian govt. now on them) that DON'T verify webmasters registration info, take the money, then recommend BlackDorkBox hosts that reside on Chinese servers, so they are beyond the juridiction of the law. Chinanet which is the biggest, is the first to be held accountable for sub-hosting to those garbage registrars and spam friendly hosts.
Anyway, not to get into a whole spam debate, measures must be created such as what I have done, to assist the victims of attacks. As of now, the email spoofing, the encryptions, the javascript re-directs, don't work anymore. Even when they try to send 1,000 of the SAME email, in one minute, it's already countered.
Little do they know, every one of the email addys they spammed, were dead accounts. So every spam was logged.
But the tragedy of all this, is they robbed a banner to mislead the public that AVT was the spammer, and we had to deal with making sure we werent placed on any Black lists. So, theres more to this than just spam and thats why Im letting the community know here, what can happen. |
