I know this question has probably been asked before, I've tried to search but can't find a definitive answer (plus I'm not the most php savvy guy), so I'd appreciate some help clearing this up.

I have PHP NUKE 7.6 installed from my hosting provider which actually comes with phpBB port v2.0.7.

I have searched the Downloads section of this site and nukeresources.com for BBtoNuke, phpbb, etc. and can't figure out what to do.

All I want to do is keep Nuke 7.6 the way it is, but upgrade the forums from 2.0.7 to 2.0.17(which I've read is a more stable port than 2.0.1Cool.

Should I use BBtoNuke 2.0.7 ---> 2.0.8 ---> 2.0.9 ---> ........ ---> 2.0.17 ?

Or is there another way? Any help is appreciated.

The easiest way is to install the latest Patched files from http://www.nukeresources.com
That will upgrade you to BBToNuke 2.0.17 as well as fix many security issues and bugs in phpNuke

I have intalled the right patched files for 7.9 but the forum stay phpbb port 2.0.6 upgraded to phpBB 2.0.7 standalone.

There are just 2 files for forum in the patched 3.4...

in modules/forum I found update_to_209.php and update_to_210.php
but I can't run them

I want update the forum only like nydk to a better or recent version

Any help is good

thanx

Actually since the date of that post, the Patched files removed the forums files.

Still, the 2.0.7 in your forums template is not correct. It is erroneously hard-coded. The only like that is correct is the one that says "Powered by phpBB 2.0.xx"

phpNuke 7.9 comes with BBToNuke 2.0.17.
So you will need to get 2.0.18 to 2.0.23

Yes overwrite the old files. NP packages no longer contain the forums files updates
