add this line to your theme.php

[ inside your function themeheader() { ]

Code:

if ($name=='Forums') {
   }
   else {
    blocks(left);
   }

I think this will do it.

Code:
//LEFT SIDE BACKGROUND
echo "<table width=\"100%\" cellpadding=\"0\" cellspacing=\"0\" border=\"0\" align=\"center\">\n"
."<tr valign=\"top\">\n"
."<td width=\"30\" valign=\"top\" background=\"themes/Type-M/images/lt.gif\"><img src=\"themes/Type-M/images/lt.gif\" width=\"30\" height=\"4\" border=\"0\"></td>\n";
if ($name != "Forums") {
echo "<td width=\"170\" valign=\"top\">\n";
blocks(left);
echo "</td>\n";
}
echo "<td width=\"5\" valign=\"top\" background=\"themes/Type-M/images/spacer.gif\"><img src=\"themes/Type-M/images/spacer.gif\" width=\"5\" height=\"1\" border=\"0\"></td>\n"
."<td width=\"100%\">\n";
}

I'm not sure what you mean. Did either Evaders link or my code work? If no what one are you going with and what is it doing? Do you have a SS of what it looks like?
