I have just learned that my hosting account has been terminated 'due to violation of AUP acceptable user policy - due to illegal website content'
So, you complain about a server being rubbish and you get your account terminated.
There is no illegal content on my site.
I'm waiting for the confirmation email, hopefully detailing what they deem illegal (hydroponic websites are not illegal).
Just as well I had the foresight to do a complete backup this morning.
SO BE WARNED, THIS IS HOW SURFSPEEDY TREAT THEIR CUSTOMERS ------ STAY AWAY FROM THEM

I use this one http://www.lnhost.com/ It's excellent, 100%uptime last month and I must say I have had no problems with this hosting. It's the best I have seen and I have tried many before.

Damn thats cheap !!!
I'm just waiting to find out how I go about transferring my domain name, I wouldn't mind betting they make it hard work, if at all as I registered it thru them (for free i think as well).
So it may well be reborn as UndergroundHydroponics.co.uk
Then again, I might just smoke a whole heap of it and start playing Joint Ops again

if you payed for the domain, you own it, no matter who you reg. it through, i used www.godaddy.com to transfer my domains from my old host, it costs about $7 or so, and takes about a week, but then atleast you have total control over the domain, no matter who your webhost is
