Need Help!: Your My_eGallery port bugs found
PHP-NukeAnonymous writes "Hello, I have found alot of bug's in the My_eGallery port, first one is on line 302 in install.php your coded "globle" and it should be "global". Also when you fix that and you click install tables from scratch you then get this error "Fatal error: Call to a member function on a non-object in /home2/et2k/public_html/modules/My_eGallery/public/mainGallery.php on line 120"

Thats as far as I got, sorry for the bad news

Admin Note: As an aside, Nuke Cops was able to install the port successfully using the straight SQL file instead of the PHP Install."

the install script for actually creating the tables works fine. I use it on at least 3 web sites myself.

Has anyone tried Gallery v1.3.3 at http://gallery.menalto.com/index.php. Everyone seems to have allegence to My eGallery but this one has great features including uploadind photos from your site, auto resize (your choice) photos and thumbnails, captions, hit count and a fantastic slide show especially in IE where you can choose the effects.

It works perfectly as a phpnuke module in IE, in NS7 it works fine although I am getting this warning at the top of the page:

Warning: mysql_fetch_row(): supplied argument is not a valid MySQL result resource in /home/mackweb/public_html/texasteam/modules/gallery/classes/database/mysql/Database.php on line 35

If you want to check it out go to texasteamster.net. This is not a production site yet, just learning until the final release of phpnuke 6.5. It would make an excellent inclusion in the final release. It like all modules can be activated and deactivated.

I really like Gallery myself can't wait to see 2.xx
But until then My_eGallery is king mainly because it will run on almost any server. Last night I batch processed 127 photos from cd's with ImageMagick added my copyright info uploaded them to Gallery rotated the oddballs. Took some time but much nicer then trying to open them all in Gimp or PhotoShop. I had 6 different cd's and of course the file names where the same so I ran a batch at a time with ImageMagick changed the bat file output each time to a new pre_fix.jpg name worked slick.
