those perl scripts above do not work from what I understand, I couldn't get them to work at all after re editing the code several times. Very buggy and many ISP's don't give you the correct acccess you need to even run them. So I found a solution on this site
which was shared to me from someone here. Please let mek now if you still can't resolve you situation after reading the above. I was able to use the script when it was beta and it brought everything over but the users table.
The only reason why it didn't was because the script had a bug in it and created a table that was too small to hold a large table of users. So I manually created a new user table and transfered my data through phpmysql. I wouldn't recommend doing this unless you know SQL. If you do attempt it, please make at least two copies for your users tables such as I did.
If you need to know exactly how I did it, let me know. But I believe on the link I posted they fixed it where you no longer have to do it manually. But there is still an issue with the date the users joined the site shown wrong. But I believe this is an error in Mysql as well but I haven't had time to look into it.
I think it's posting the date in unix format and not converting it before outputting it to the screen.
Well, I and others have used them successfully. They are tricky to set up, but that doesn't mean they don't work. Use whatever works for you.

sorry Raven I was typing fast, I didn't mean to make it sound as they don't work at all. I know a lot of folks have had sucess with them. Myself I did not and I know a lot of others as well, but it's just as you stated whatever works for you.
Also quick note, the error on that php script concerning the date, it has nothing to do with the Mysql database, so I'm looking the script over for the error, I'll post the fix and the full script once I correct the code if I find time. This script is all in php which should work across all ISP's. But I'm still learning so who knows. I'm just taking the orgininal script and editing a few fixes on it.
