Hi Guys...

Lets see - Where to begin....

Standard Nuke Site ; Downloads Module;

Ad a *pdf file and comments to the downloads - then when you go to the site, click on downloads, and then click on the file, it DOES NOT proceed to download! It's like a link to know where!
page says: Page not found
The page you are looking for might have been removed,
had its name changed, or is temporarily unavailable.

I've put the file in the proper directory, but is there a configuration file I have to edit?

On another site I did, When I click on a download, it opens a page of extended characters and actually trys to read the file.

Any help here greatly appreciated.
thanks
Lucky

Did you put the full URL to the file?

currently the "properties" of the link say:

http://www.domain.com/modules.php?name=Downloads&d_op=getit&lid=2

I obviously didn't type this... looks like it was dynamically generated.

Validating links returns:

Status Download Title Functions
Ok! Care instructions for Refinished Hardwood Floors. None
Ok! New Floor Care Instructions None

When I added the download, I typed a direct url:
http://www.domain.com/downloads/files/file.pdf

did I screw up?

evaders;

I want to add a *.pdf file to the download page of a nuke site.
I go into the admin panel / go to downloads / fill out the info requested / and post.

Then when I goto the site / hit the downloads page/ and then click on the download - this is what I get:

Page not found
The page you are looking for might have been removed,
had its name changed, or is temporarily unavailable.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Please try the following:
If you typed the page address in the Address bar, make sure that it is spelled correctly.

- Click the Back button in your browser to try another link.
- Use a search engine like Google to look for information on the Internet.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
HTTP 404 - File not found

------------
I typed in a direct link
the file is there!
???
thanks
