I have a questions I hope someone can answer.

In the profile_view_body.tpl You can use the {USERNAME} tag to show the current usernames name you can even use it to come up with a url for {USERNAME}

I believe it calls upon the usercp_viewprofile.php file.

What I want to do is be able to use these easy call upon tags in another module.

What Do I need to do to get them to work in another module?

Basically I want it to automatically find the username of the person logged in and Display it or put it in a url.

Thank you in advanced

Try this as a script (e.g. userinfo.php) in your root:

Code:
<?php

include("mainfile.php");
include ("header.php");

// That's the interesting part:
getusrinfo($user);
// ****************************

OpenTable();
echo "<pre>";
print_r($userinfo);
echo "</pre>";
CloseTable();
include("footer.php");
?>

.. and see what wealth of info the function getusrinfo() delivers.

Once you called that function, you have about all information you can get for a user in the array $userinfo.
So if you need the users nickname, just use $userinfo[username]. Need his email? Use $userinfo[user_email].
I hope you get the point Wink
