You can set the theme in your admin preferences for phpnuke. Loging in at mysite.com/admin.php

I have tried to add a theme, I uploaded the new theme to the same directory that the default subgrey is in but when I select add I get this error

Warning: main(./pagestart.): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/tombsto/public_html/php_nuke/modules/Forums/admin/admin_styles.php on line 48

Fatal error: main(): Failed opening required './pagestart.' (include_path='.:/usr/lib/php:/usr/local/lib/php') in /home/tombsto/public_html/php_nuke/modules/Forums/admin/admin_styles.php on line 48

Shouldn't need to do add or anything. Upload the theme directory that comes with the themepack you want to install to /themes. Then make sure all the permissions are good and go into your preferences on the admin panel and the new theme should be sitting there in the drop down

Yes, I've had the same problem.

- Downloaded Theme.
- Uploaded my files to the proper "/theme" directory on my site.
- Open the Admin Panel, selected the new theme.

Then I got SQL error messages and my site crashed.

I've got my theme back to it's original, and I won't dare touch it, until I can figure out a way to revert back to the original theme, should the new one NOT work.

Any help?

Double check that you are in fact using a bundle that includes forums and then double check that the permissions are good on all the theme files.

I've actually got my forums disabled in Nuke. We're running PHPBB independant of the Site itself, as it was used prior to us using Nuke and we couldn't port the Old Forum Database into the New Bundled one that came with Nuke.

Would that have anything to do with why the Theme's aren't running properly?
