Sorry if this has been answered already -- I already searched and 25 Billion results came up...I couldn't narrow the search, soooooo....

I need to upgrade my version of MySQL (on a RedHat Linux server), and I was simply trying to find out which version I should upgrade to.

The php-nuke 6.8 "INSTALL" file only says "mysql", not which versions are compatible.

So I began d/l the stable version of v4, but in the user comments on the mysql website someone said that the newest stable version of mysql won't work with PHP...

The question is: Which version of MySQL should I upgrade to?

Patiently awaiting an informed response,
Smile
