Upgraded to 7.6 - Modules "Access Denied" in Admin

Hi all,

I have gone to 7.6, and I have cleared my authors table and created a new God account.

When I log in to admin.php I cannot see my Modules I just get

Modules Administration

Access Denied

Any ideas ?

Are you using some older scripts? They may not be designed to work in 7.6

OK - Solved it.

I asked my provider to restore my site back to before it was hacked.

He only restored the DB - not the filesystem

After I was hacked I upgraded to 7.8, then 7.9 and I was hacked again.

So this time after the restore I wanted to install RavenNuke (hence I'm first installing 7.6 Core Nuke)

However...... The "Advertising" Module (from 7.8 / 7.9) was still in my filesystem, so when modules.php ran it was picking up this module first and this module was causing a die() with the message "Access Denied"

I did an "rm -Rf Advertising" in the Modules dir and now it's working....

It took a bit of tracking down eith echo statements, but I got there !!!
