does this work with phpnuke 7.6 is the database info correct? cause its not saving stuff when i click on the link u make.. i was thinking.. doesnt it need your host name? like $trackerhost = blahblah; then put that in the other places it says localhost and replace with the $trackerhost

Here is the readme file of this prog...

Before I go into any detail at all about this script,
I want to take the time to thank all the wonderful
channel members of #php from! Without
their wonderful expertise and help, this script would've
never gotten ANYWHERE!

Meissenation Tracker
Copyright (c) 2005

Meissenation Tracker is a simple PHP-Nuke add-on that allows
you to use PHP Nuke for your very own AIM link tracker! After
growing tired of using IMChaos and other free link trackers,
I downloaded my own and thought: WTF why not put it into Nuke?!
So here it is! Meissenation's AIM Link Tracker. I don't mind if
you want to edit or tweak or improve on the script, but if you do
let me know so I can add the tweaks to the master script: I'm 100%
new to PHP scripting so I'm sure others will find better ways to
do what I've done. THANKS!

Installation is very very easy!
1. Open html/track/index.php and edit the three variables at the top so the file can access your database
2. Upload all the files in the HTML folder to the respetive location.

Making your links:
If you are capable of running a PHP Nuke site, I guess you're capable of making your own link!
The address for links you want tracked is:

// Meissenation's AIM Link Tracker
// File: index.php
// Description: Captures the information from the user when they click a link in your AIM profile
// Copyright 2005 by
// If you edit this file, please email me so I can improve the master script
// Email address is
// Thanks!
// Just wanted to put a quick thank you to everyone at #PHP on for all their wonderful help they gave me!
// This script never would've been completed without their excellent help!

//These are the only three variables you need to edit!
$trackerusername = coolybr;
$trackerpassword = b8c0861b;
$trackerdatabase = coolybr_nuke1;
// Do not edit anything below this line!!

//Define variables
$hour = date('H') + 1;
$TrackerDate = date("Y-d-m {$hour}:i:s");
$sn = $_GET['name'];
$trackerurl = $_GET['site'];
$trackerIP = $_SERVER['REMOTE_ADDR'];

// Connect to the database and select the proper database
$db = mysql_connect("localhost",$trackerusername,$trackerpassword);

// Look for a match to see if the screen name has visited the site before
$result = mysql_query("SELECT screen_name,url,times,info_id FROM tracker_userinfo WHERE screen_name = '$sn' AND url = '$trackerurl'");

// If that person hasn't, insert a new entry for them.
if (!$result) {
   $times = 1;
    $sql  = "INSERT INTO tracker_userinfo (screen_name, url, user_IP, tracktime, times) VALUES ('$sn', '$trackerurl', '$trackerIP', '$TrackerDate', '1')";

// If they have, double check to make sure the URLs match, and then add 1 to the times the person has clicked the link
else {
   $row = mysql_fetch_row($result);
   if ($row[1] == $trackerurl) {
      $times = $row[2] + 1;
      $trackerid = $row[3];
//      $result = mysql_query("select count(*) from tracker_userinfo  WHERE info_id = '$trackerid'");
//      $row = mysql_fetch_row($result);
//      print_r($row);
      $sql = "UPDATE tracker_userinfo SET times='$times' WHERE info_id = '$trackerid'";
      mysql_query($sql) or die(mysql_error());
      $sql2 = "UPDATE tracker_userinfo SET tracktime='$TrackerDate' WHERE info_id = '$trackerid'";
      mysql_query($sql2) or die(mysql_error($sql2));
   else {
      $times = 1;
      $sql  = "INSERT INTO tracker_userinfo (screen_name, url, user_IP, tracktime, times) VALUES ('$sn', '$trackerurl', '$trackerIP', '$TrackerDate', '$times')";

// Transfer to the URL
   header("Location: $trackerurl");

There are many websites out there that offer AIM profile trackers so you don't have to code you own. By far the best is because it allows you to track links such as your myspace profile, blog and photo album.
