I would disagree, at least in part. The Calendar module has to call the nuke_authors table to check the admin status. if you removed the column from the table, then you have increased your problems. |

interesting! it all works, I must have gotten a hacked version from somewhere. No blank page in edit admins and I can delete now. If your having a problem, goto the authors site and get a fresh copy, worked for me. |

As the author said in an earlier post, there was a release that had the error but was pulled right away. I think it's possible that someone has that copy and may be unaware that it has the error and others are downloading it. |

Sounds right... I'm glad its finally fixed, everytime someone made a mistake I had to manually delete it. One less thing to be bothered with. As always, thanks for the help... |

As I said before, if PHP-Nuke had a plugable type of admin system then I doubt we would have to edit any core files to get modules to function the dersired way - this alone makes a good a case for a FreeNuke/NewNuke/WhateverNuke spin off.
A differances file is supplied with the Event Calendar module so that users can manualy edit their files. It's not hard to do, so why don't NSN? Is it just an oversight or plain arrogance?

Yes I mean here, I don't use phpBB..
If it takes longer than a minute or so to write a post and hit the submit button then an Invalid_session error occours - very annoying.
I checked out CompareIt. Looks good and has some nice features, but at present is still not quite up with Beyond Compare. BC is comparable on price and has more to offer at this stage.
Beebar, I suggest any problems with the installation/use of the Event Calendar should be directed to our forums rather than here.
Edit - You posted while I was typeing. Good to see all is OK now, just for your info that error can be caused from not uploading the admin directory. |

Thats fine, thanks Raven.
BTW - can you get these damn Invalid_session errors fixed? - It's driving me nuts..
You mean here at NC? I've griped to ZX and he turns a deaf ear not really. We're moving to a better server environment soon, so, hopefully those errors will go away, assuming that's what you are referring to.

If I am not mistaken, this happens on all sites with version 6.5 and the phpBB forum and not only on this site.
It is absolutely a silly message for something that is NOT an error but part of the way the script is thought out. Could have been done more graciously and more acceptable to many more serious sites.
And I am sure not all deaf people think that dancers are mad. |

You totally miss the point of the quote. It's not to be taken literally! |

I changed the code as you suggested, Raven, but I'm still having the same problem. For some reason though, I only get the problem when I try to add a message to the main page. I checked my module list and it doesn't look like I have the Events module installed.
Any idea what my problem could be?
Thanks. |

You had blank lines after the initial ?> in your language file. Since it is an include file, that causes data to be sent to the browser and then the script tries to issue a php header() command, which causes it to die silently. You are now working! |

I getting a "Access Denied" page when I try certain Administration functions...
What can I do? What is the wrong thing? How can I try my Administration functions?
PhpNuke Version is 6.7.
Thank's all... |
