I recently moved my website from a WIN NT server to a UNIX server, and now every time anyone visits the page, load time is slow because each and every image reloads wether it is cached or not........ weird thing is, it was all fine before the move.... any ideas?

whats the page generation time?
The other thing is that if you are on a shared server the CPU and bandwidth can be overloaded. It often happens on shared (cheap) hosting servers/packages.

If the URL of the image does not change, then image caching is subject to your browser settings. I would look elsewhere for the source of the problem.
