Having problems with the security code applet not showing after install of latest AS version. I followed all the instructions and found the work around, but I cant seem to get in to change "Filter Proofing" and decrease Flood delay time, as outlined in the FAQ. I am running PHP-Nuke 7.2 and it works great until I install AS. Also, "God Admin"; is that the same as the regular "admin" account I used when I first set up the site or is that a user I need to manually add before installing AS? Thanks for the help.

OK, I reinstalled Nuke and created the "God" account correctly this time. modified and copied files as prescribed in the Install document, ran the script to install tables and such as "God". Then I lost the security code applet? Jeez, I know I'm following the steps in exact detail, just don't understand why this code would suddenly go away, effectively locking me out of my site?????

Mad Damn this sux. Per the FAQ included with the Admin Secure package:
Q: After I installing Admin Secure, security code image did not shown during
admin/user login prompt.

A: Admin Secure 1.5 and up has been fixing this bug for security code image
that should displayed in admin login and Your Account module. There were
also some workarounds to solve "image does not shown properly" which may
appear with other modules:

- If this is only happens in administration area, set "Filter Proofing"
setting to either "All Admins" or "God Admin Only" from within Admin
Secure configuration panel.

- If this is also happens to modules seen by users, decrease flood
delay time in Admin Secure configuration panel, or completely disable
"Flood Protection" setting.

How is a user suffering from this able to get into the Admin area when he cant log into the site, or am I missing something, is there some secret way to login as "God" in order to change these settings?

Well, the problem is you can't login because security code does not appear. Am I correct?

Ok, we have to track down the problem step by step. Missing security code could be caused by two things; it's disabled in config.php, or there's some parse error in admin.php (caused by typos or incorrect code patching). By assuming from the second case (security code displayed as red-x), we have to focus with this one. For temporary alternative, of course you can turn-off security code from config.php. But this is not the long term solution. To locate the problem, we need to execute the security directly. Type this URL from your browser:
Code:
http://yoursite/admin.php?op=gfx&random_num=123456

If nothing wrong, you should see an image, otherwise you'll see a PHP error message, followed with strange binary characters. In this case, you'll have to follow the line number in admin.php that causing the error.

Yes. The first create admin account is God account, unless you use non-standard PHP-Nuke.

No, Admin Secure does not require additional admin account. Most Admin Secure installation and administration can be done when you logged in using first-time installation's admin account.
