Not sure if this is the right section for this so apologies if not.

I recently ported my bb2nuke forum that\'s inside my phpnuke site to phpbb3. I have changed the link in the modules ok so when people click the forum link it goes to the new forum. However people who have bookmarked the old forum are now getting a module inactive message... i did deactivate the old forum.

So my question is, how to I make sure visitors who are using bookmarked pages go to the new forum? Or, perhaps I could change the text in the module inactive page to show the url of the new forum ?

Any help much appreciated.

Thanks for getting back to me. It\\\'s version 7.9 and the only mod is a Approve Membership. Do you think that might be a problem ?

By the way, when I started this thread i ticked the notify me when reply is posted. I just got an email with a link to the reply but on clicking it I was taken to a site selling electonic gadgets. Something amiss there I think?

Hi

First issue, I dont see how the approve membership mod could affect it.

Its more likely that by porting to phpbb3 the links have changed. There should be a template file for the original phpbb2 page that we can redirect to your current one.

Can you PM me a link to your site so I can take a look for myself.

With regards to the other issue, I can see that the site has changed somewhat in the time I have been away and I think this has had some affect on certain areas.

Once I have made contact with the other mods (proving difficult!) I will try to get this fixed.

Thanks
