Hello,

I have been using PHPnuke for several years, and have done a lot of mods and additions to it on my own. I have read through Chris K's manual, and through a *lot* of forum posts, but I have never been able to find any instructions or direction as to how to use the subscription feature inside of Nuke. (The forum search on this site seems to be broken most of the time so it's been hard to find anything on the subscriptions here)

I have Nuke 7.7 installed and would like to be able to validate a users entrance into the main site. They would not have to pay anything, but have to enter a code issued by me.

What I have been able to find is the $subscription_url variable in the config file, but I'm not sure what to do when I get it pointed to a url. How does nuke know that the user would be subscribed? Are there any instructions out there or a manual that explains how to go about using the subscription features?

Thanks a ton for any help you can give.

Regards,
FourMat

Thanks for the reply Dezina.

I had run across those guys before, and I will look a little more closely into them.

My main questions were more regarding the logical workings of the subscription function as a concept. Nuke has a built in subscription url variable, but how is it used? Is the target URL supposed to generate a response to automatically approve a subscription? How would that interface be created? Or was the original intention of the nuke subscription implementation meant to be a manual flipping of a flag when someone actually paid for a subscription and you received an email notification?

It appears that this is a very seldom used function inside of Nuke because ANY information about how to use it and it's implementation is very hard to come by. If anyone else has any clues or directions, please let me know. Thanks.
