Operating System Linux 2.4.20-30.9

Web Server Software Apache/1.3.29 (Unix) JRun/4.0 PHP/4.3.4 mod_ssl/2.8.16 OpenSSL/0.9.7a

PHP Version 4.3.4

Database Server: MySQL

Using phpMyAdmin 2.5.6

--------------------------------------------------

Ok, I have a rather strange problem.

For some odd reason I cannot edit the nuke_config table? I am using phpMyAdmin 2.5.6. I was previously using version 2.5.4 and it was not working either. Seems to have just started acting up recently.

Maybe this is a common problem or maybe I have goofed something up in phpnuke..

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks!

This usually means that you have entered html code (like in your footer) that has confused phpMyAdmin, possibly mismatched quotes or something. What I usually do is export the table and edit/remove the code that I think is probably causing it from the exported data. Then, EMPTY (not DROP) the table and use the SQL tab to INSERT the line back in.

Ok, now I reinstalled nuke from scratch with the new 7.1. I still cannot edit nuke_config.

I laso tried to edit the nuke_config on one of my other site that is on a WIndows Server 2003 box and I can't edit there either. phpMyAdmin-2.5.5-pl1 and nuke 7.0 there.

What is the deal? Two totally different enviroments and both new installs right outta the box?

Once again is the a common problem?

Thanks.

Yes. I am able to add users.

Actually I can see the entire nuke_config table while using phpMyAdmin. It's only when I try to "edit" that I have problems. Then all I get is a blank screen with the other tables listed down the left side.

Now on both of my sites, which I have mentioned, I have this same identical problem. Both sites are on separate servers and separate MySQL servers as well. As I have also mentioned on the graphitepencil.net site I started from scratch woithout adding anything to the table and I had this problem.

I am clueless.

Please PM me at my site and give me your phpMyAdmin url, id, and password and let me try to track this down for you.

Has anyone figured out a fix for this? I'm going to try what you said Raven. I bet that's what's causing it.

Did anyone ever get to the bottom of this?

I am having the same problem, but it seems no-one has posted the solution wherever I look.
