Some Rainbow Brite-stick decided to run a script to anonymously add a comment to every single news story on my site. I don't want to manually delete the comments (admin-secure won't let me anyway) and I looked for a way to automate the process in the admin-menu. Didn't come up with anything.
I could do some SQL queries to get rid of the comments, but then I'd have the problem of the comment-count being off.
Here's my question-- did I miss some interface for doign this? I'd love to just say "delete all comments by such and such a host_name" across all the topics.
Has anyone written a module or something for this? I'd imagine since my site got sprayed with this crap, i'm not alone..
