clear all your cookies from your browser, and try again. it's a common fix for the phpBB forum port and mentioned many many times on this site, phpnuke.org and bbtonuke.sourceforge.net

Can you run the analyzer at your site and link to it for us so we can continue on common ground? |

someone mentioned on BBtoNuke that I should try :
VERY simple way to get by the not authorised BS.
Sign up a new user for PHPNuke. Call it "Forumadmin" or whatever.
This should be a normal, unpriviledged user. Don't login yet...
now go edit the database.nuke_users.user_level and set it to "2".
(note: it should be at level 1 when you first view it, because this is a normal user)
Now, login to PHPNuke with that user, and click on the modules link to the forum (NOT via the admin panel, and if you don't see it listed in the modules, it's because the admin doesn;t have it enabled, so go back and do that). You'll get the default "there are no forums" but this time, you'll see the PHPBB adm

Do I need mysqlphpadmin ? Where can I download this? |

That is how anaylzer checks the data in the special rank table. I re-checked analyzer on your site and it is still release 1.21 instead of 1.51. Anyway, the table still doesn't list any admins. |

Thanks. Well we already knew you didn't have site admins setup, and the table Member Special Ranks for Hillelforum.org validates that. You certainly need to set yourself as type 2 in the users table. After that, reload the analyzer and that table should be properly populated. As an example you can see our analyze.php |

grrrrrrrrrrrrrr I have tried editing the
Database gar598_nuke1 - table nuke_users running on localhost
to set users as "2" or "3" but they don't seem to showup in the analyzer. I have also tried in the phpbb admin to set other users as admin but once again they don't show up in the analyzer. |
