NukeCops - Batch Upload facility for EDL 2.1 available

CheapUkwebhosting is proud to announce the release of an addon script for the excellent NukeStyles Enhanced Downloads (EDL).

For those who dont know EDL is an excellent script which builds upon the original downloads module for nuke. It has however one minor shortcoming in its present invocation in that you cannot easily bulk upload files.

I searched high and low and eventually found some code snippet on Nukestyles forums that did work, but wasnt integrated into nuke at all.

I wanted something a little more integrated, so having some time to spare i sat down and modded the code to be a phpnuke admin module :)

It allows the facility to choose the downloads category to import into from a dropdown, and enter a folder name of the folder you uploaded the files into. You are then whisked off and shown the results of the directory parsing i.e. number of files found, and the sql statements that the system will perform, you then can click a button to simply add the required entries into your database without messing around with phpmyadmin.

The script ascertains the filesize for you and their are variables that you can meddle with to change default images, descriptions, submitter, email address etc etc

I have used it without issues on a phpnuke platinum 7.6 server with no ill effects so far :)
