How about to have a different right block than the standard for each module . Like in news article.

With the Blocks_Mod you can put any block left or right differently with any module.
You can even use inactive blocks.

I do the following for mine, quick and easy to add new ones.

switch($name) {
case 'Forums':
case 'Private_Messages':
break;
default:
blocks(left);
}

Only named modules will have no blocks and is one way of doing it.

With the Blocks_Mod you can have different blocks or no blocks for any module.

Do you have a link for that? I tried the one posted but it appeared to be dead.

Hi there,

I have tried the instructions the mikem gave them in the begining and everything works perfect. With that code that I have modified I manged to hide left block.

Although I would like to resize that module, because now what happens is that blocks on the left hand side disappear and stays blank, and still Forums module is very narrow.

Is there anyway that the place allocated for the left blocks to be used for a module?

I look forward to hear from you.
best regards.

Blocks_Mod is very cool!

What I'm trying to do is find a way to allow a user to toggle the left blocks on and off. Is there a way to use Blocks_Mod to do this?

Thanks!
